具体岗位描述:

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Serve as PEI-Genesis’s prime contact internally for export and import compliance matters and externally for all government inquiries or notifications related to export or import transactions that fall under Asian offices;

2) Respond to customer queries on Export Classification; maintain long term declaration evidence and log and supply equivalent to customer as per request;

3)Support development of written policies, work instruction and procedures, and be the prime responsible to ensure the standard implementation at all Asian offices;

4)Assist in implementation of compliance measures to meet identified areas of risk;

5) Arrange and oversee internal and external audits to benchmark the Export Compliance Program for PEI-Genesis Connectors Zhuhai Ltd and ensure the program meets expectations the export and import regulations required, as well PEI-Genesis internal policies, procedures and relevant work instructions;

6) Provide decision support on day to day compliance matters for all Asian offices, including new business opportunities, i.e., products, suppliers, markets, and assist the shipping department with shipping queries related to exporting situations;

7) Oversee the process of export determination for all Asian offices, i.e. determine license requirements for product, software and/or technology and coordinate the preparation and filing of export license applications, when necessary;

8) Create and supply appropriate Export compliance training in co-ordination with the Training Department to all Asian offices and Zhuhai production teams and accordingly to the requirement of the different teams;

9)Identify and attend external trade compliance training in the form of industry or government sponsored conferences and seminars/online webinars to ensure kept current on export and import regulations that are required to perform the Export Compliance Officer position. Ensure continuous training on these topics as appropriate to the Asian employees;

10) Establish and maintain a contact network of persons within applicable government departments, freight forwarders/custom brokers, suppliers, as well as other trade compliance professionals in the industry;

11) Investigate when required, any possible trade compliance violations, and report any violation of internal policies and procedures as related to trade compliance to the Global Manager of Trade Compliance and, as needed, relevant manager(s) of the concerned department(s). When necessary and as directed, assist with reporting said violations to the appropriate government officials;

12) When required, manage project with vendors and internal customers to ensure timely completion.



EDUCATION or equivalent combination of education and experience;

2) Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced relevant experience preferred;

3)Experience in a Supply Chain environ
