In preparation for the University’s establishment of a campus in Guangzhou, the Human Resources Office is seeking a high caliber, dynamic and self-motivated individual to work as a contact person between the Guangzhou Campus in Nansha and Clear Water Bay Campus in Hong Kong. Apart from delivering human resources service in talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefit administration and legal compliance, the appointee is expected to provide administrative, secretarial and logistical support to the committees and work groups of the new project office in Nansha. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. Candidates should have good conceptual and analytical ability, a service-oriented mindset, demonstrated supervisory experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Understanding of the Mainland employment and accounting practices and other related legal and regulatory requirements is preferred. The appointee should also be self-directed, independent, resourceful, and be highly proficient in both English and Chinese. Good computer skill is expected. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a Mainland appointment and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST Mainland entity in accordance with the local labour laws and regulations. The appointee is expected to station in Nansha, Guangzhou. Application Procedure Interested candidates should send their application and a curriculum vitae with salary expected to Human Resources Office, HKUST(GZ) by email to gzrecruit@ust.hk on or before Friday, 2 August 2019. We thank applicants for their interest and be advised that only shortlisted candidates will be notified of the result of the application.
